Soak in the spectacular southern and coastal regions of Namibia. Travel through the world’s oldest desert, Namib, and the Naukluft mountain range area. Take in the famous white clay pan of Deadvlei, and be surrounded by some of the world’s highest sand dunes — reaching over 300 meters. And be awed by the Skeleton Coast, considered one of the most pristine shorelines left in the world.

Arrival Day:
Your personal safari guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to our very own Khaya Guesthouse.
Day 1:
Depart from Khaya guesthouse and explore the historical sites and points of interest in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city. Travel south and descend into the desert at the Spreetzhoogte Pass. Visit Solitaire and have some fresh apple pie. Book in at the lodge and relax by the pool, hike the trail or go on the Sundowner drive (activity optional).
Day 2:
Visit Deadvlei and Sossusvlei where you will see some of the highest sand dunes on the planet. This is one of the most dramatic locations on earth, and you will be left awe inspired. Next, you will visit Sesriem Canyon and then return to the desert lodge
Day 3:
As we travel toward the coast, we will pass through the Kuiseb Canyon and the Namib Desert. After arriving in Swakopmund for lunch, you can choose between a variety of activities: quad biking in the sand dunes, dune boarding, desert tours, and more (activity optional). Enjoy a dinner at one of the excellent restaurants in the city of Swakopmund, where you will be staying overnight.
Day 4:
Go on a dolphin cruise at the Walvisbay Lagoon (activity optional). Explore the Namib Desert and sites such as the Moon Landscape. Do a little shopping in the one of the many shops or barter for something special at the wood carvers market. Have dinner at another fine restaurant in Swakopmund where we will again stay overnight.
Day 5:
As we travel east toward Okahandja, we will get to visit a gem market and the Spitzkoppe mountain range where we can view 2000-year-old Bushman rock paintings. You’ll also get to visit the famous Okahandja Woodcarvers Market. Overnight at the Khaya Guesthouse.
Departure day:
Your guide will see to it that you make it to the airport well in time for your flight back home.

Camping: Fully assisted camping means we take care of everything. We put up the tents and supply you with a stretcher bed and mattress, sleeping bag and pillow, bedside table and LED light. We’ll prepare open-fire meals under the African night sky. After dinner, relax by the fire and listen to the night sounds of Africa. All campsites have superb ablution facilities. Fully-assisted camping is a great way to travel and experience Africa on an authentic level.

Lodging: Enjoy some of the best lodges and guesthouses around that provide real value for your money. We’ve spent years visiting different establishments to ensure we only select the best for our clients. All meals are provided by the lodges and guesthouses unless otherwise indicated on the itinerary.

Luxury: Appreciate cream-of-the-crop accommodations at establishments that give you a second-to-none luxury experience. All meals are provided by the establishments unless otherwise indicated on the itinerary.

Arrival and Departure day Accommodation will be provided at our very own Khaya Guesthouse. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, wi-fi, satellite television, mini bar and coffee station. The evenings will be spent around the fire pit discussing the adventure to come or safari memories that will last a lifetime.
